Local Farm-ChiliMarch 5th: Local Farmers Chili Cook-Off
presented by Unity Chiropractic

A first time event featuring some of the most flavorful chili made with all local meats from our local meat producing farms. A Grand Champion First Place winner will be selected by you, our customers! So be sure to stop by all our local meat producing farmer booths to taste which chili you like best and cast your ballot. This is a first ever Chili Cook-0ff using all local meats delivering flavorful chili you will not want to miss! See you Saturday March 5th!

May 14th: Franklin Strawberry Festival
presented by Ford Lincoln of Franklin

Farm fresh strawberries, a sweet way to start the summer at the Franklin Farmers Market! The 2016 Strawberry Festival will have lots of strawberries, fun and games for the kids, and the best homemade strawberry shortcakes you’ll ever eat! We are planning for a bumper crop of very sweet juicy strawberries!  Bring the kids and some friends!  Great fun for all!!!

July 16th: Tomato Festival
presented by Amerigo Restaurants

It’s heaven for tomato lovers – celebrate summer’s favorite veggie with heirloom tomato tastings, plus lots of fun games for the kids!

August 27th: Watermelon Festival
Presented by Williamson Medical Center

it’s a big, juicy sweet seed-spittin’ fun day for the whole family! The games for the kids and adults, includes the popular watermelon seed-spitting contest and the popular fastest watermelon eating contest. Don’t miss the wild watermelon carvings and slices of ice cold watermelon!

Oct 22nd: Invasion of the Scarecrows
presented by Ford Lincoln of Franklin

From big and tall to short and small, scarecrows of every size will invade the Franklin Farmers Market. And with the scarecrows comes a day of fun for everyone with a free pumpkin patch for the kids, face painting, the Perfect Pumpkin Painting booth!

Our Pardoning of the Turkey event promises to be another family favorite event! Returning to the market will be the friendliest pet turkey from Earth Advocates Research Farm. Plans are in the works for a very special guest who will preside over the pardoning of Danny the Turkey. We will invite all children to write a letter to the market requesting the pardoning of Danny the Turkey this fall. Come enjoy the day!

Santa in Frankin TN

December 10th: Santa Visits the Market

Santa visits the market on December 10, 2016. Bring the kids to visit with Santa and snap a picture of Santa asking what each child wants for Christmas. It’ll be a fun day for local families!
