Rocky Glade Farm

A mission to grow great, healthy food. That’s the purpose behind Rocky Glade Farm, a diverse family farm that grows delicious fresh food 12 months a year. Rocky Glade Farm offers a wide range of fresh produce and fruit. From greens to potatoes; blueberries to pumpkins, the Vaughn family of Rocky Glade Farm grows what your taste buds desire.

Rocky Glade Farm has been a part of the Franklin Farmers Market since the market’s beginning and Rocky Glade is at the market year-round.

Our Tennessee Farm offers a 10 week summer CSA program for their produce and also features on-farm pickup.

Summer Market Opens this Saturday!

Now not much really changes if you are a regular at the FFM when the summer market begins but the HOURS do…new market hours from now until November are 8am until 1pm. Another thing will be that there will be more new vendors…and that your friendly OLD vendors (like us!) will be in new locations!

This week Jim will move to where we were last spring and fall in the tent booth at the very end of the market opposite Liberty Pike. This will be our new normal location for the rest of Spring. IF you go to his winter location next to Triple L, you will be able to see his tent space at the end of the market.

So what will we have in our new booth? More ROOM and lots of YUM!

We will have extra berries for sale this weekend for those of you who would like to preserve some berries while they are fresh and in season. ps…did you know that freezing berries is SUPER easy? just nip off the little green tops and toss in a quart or gallon ziplock freezer bag. Smush out all the air and lay flat in your freezer so that the berries freeze in just one or two layers. Whole berries will easily separate when you are ready to use them. This is a perfect method for those of you who like smoothies and shakes.
