delvin-logoDelvin Farms is a family owned and operated Certified Organic Farm in College Grove, TN with three generations of family living and working on the farm. Our 220 acre farm is located on the Harpeth River that runs through Middle Tennessee. We grow a large variety of organic fruits and vegetables ten months out of the year through the use of high tunnels in the early spring and late fall. We have a CSA Farms program with 14 delivery sites in the Nashville area. We grow a variety of organic vegetables and fruits 9 months out of the year. You are welcome to come out to the farm to meet us, or come by one of the producer-only farmers markets in the Nashville area, as one of us is always at the market! Delvin Farms is owned and operated by Hank Sr.,and his wife, Cindy, Hank Jr., his wife Liz, and Amy, her husband Brandon. Our Story: Delvin Farms began in 1972 after Hank, Sr. returned from serving in Viet Nam and wanted to farm for a living. From 1972-1997 Hank Sr. and his wife, Cindy, their children, Hank, Eric and Amy farmed produce and sold it through distribution centers, Shoney’s and grocery stores. In 1997 Hank and Cindy began the process of turning the farm into a certified organic farm operation and became certified in 1998. They began the CSA that same year and began selling directly to customers at the Franklin Farmers market. In 2007, two of their children, Hank Jr. and Amy, left careers of their own to join the farm full time and helped the farm expand in direct marketing through farmers markets, restaurants, grocery stores and agritourism. Today, Delvin Farms is able to support three families on the farm, and we are blessed to be able to continue the family farm tradition that our father began in 1972. Where to Find Us: Besides our CSA Farms program, you can find our produce at all the producer-only farmers markets in the Nashville area including: 12th South Farmers market (Tues), East Nashville Farmers Market (Wed.), Hip Donelson Farmers Market (Fri), West End Farmers Market (Sat.), Franklin Farmers Market (Sat.) and Forest Hills Farmers Market (Sat.) You can also find our produce at Whole Foods, Turnip Truck, Produce Place and many of the restaurants that use local Tennessee farm products.

    Just finished eating a great tasting BIG BOWL of Strawberry Shortcake! The Delvin Farms Organic Strawberries were most likely to the first on the Market for the 2015 Season. The very sweet taste of the berries soaking into a Jones Mill Farms Whipping Cream Pound Cake and topped off with big dip of Hatcher Family Dairy Whip Cream hit the spot. It just don’t get any BETTER than this It’s a Southern Thing!
