After having the driest September in over 100 years mother nature has blessed our local farms with rain for most of this week. Today's rain did not keep our market customers away, so much fresh picked produce and pumpkins were quickly leaving the market. With cooler temperatures come homemade soups from our baked goods cooks. Picking up some soup bones from a meat farmer to combine with cabbage, tomatoes, celery, onions, potatoes, green beans and any other fresh veggies of choice make for a great tasting winter soup. Invasion of the Scarecrows is next week!
