It's not quite winter yet, but it sure felt like it with 30 degree weather at the market this morning! A lot of us bundled up to stay warm. There's still good summer produce at the market, but the cool weather crops are coming in fast, with winter root vegetables in large numbers. Of course, great meats, baked goods, veggies and artisan crafts can always be found at the winter market. But today, at the Franklin Farmers Market, there was something definitely missing. An empty chair sat where Mr. Cecil Bronnenberg would have normally been, with a plaid blanket and American Flag draped over it. We'll miss you dearly, Cecil. Goodbye old friend.
